Cyclachaena xanthiifolia belongs to the Compositae family and is a harmful entry plant subject to quarantine. C. xanthiifolia has been found in Liaoning, Heilongjiang, Jilin, Shandong, etc. In August 2012, C. xanthiifolia was discovered in Tacheng City. We then investigated in northern regions of Xinjiang from August 2012 to September 2016. The results show that the species currently only grows along the highways, farmland edges, ditches, and wastelands, east freight yard of Tacheng and Baktu ports.
